My brother was able to snap this incredible picture of bald eagle in his neighborhood today. Amazing! I remember hearing when I was growing up that bald eagles were near extinction. Most were found only on the upper Northwest. It is incredibly inspiring to see this king and especially here down south. I just had to share. They have definitely made a comeback. We are lucky enough to see them on a fairly regular basis — even an albino eagle at one point! They are magnificent birds!

What a great shot! There is a reserve near my place where they live, but I have yet to see one there!
