Why is it still hitting 97 degrees as the high every dang day (heat index like 107) with no end in sight? Oh, right. Texas in September. That is all.
More to come about chronic illness and work, but I just can’t mentally be coherent right now. It really feels like Hell outside. I hope you all are in cooler climes. Take care friends. TTYL 💕
I have the opposite problem. I am not doing well with the cold. And the cold seems to be making the pain worse.
I hope you find some relief soon! I will take some of your heat!😁

Yes, please! Let’s do some exchanging! I’m sure you all feel the same way about some of those winter up there. That cold does seep in and makes the pain worse for sure. 😦 Wish I could send you some heat! It was 97 again today. But, this morning, at like 6 am it was a chilly 70. We haven’t had less than 78 as a low for a long while now. I’ll need a jacket soon! Lol

Lol! I am comfy around 75-80 degrees. Humidity is welcome but not necessary. It has dipped into the 40s at night now. I am worried about where I am going to put all my plants.😳

It was 108 in Las Vegas today, I love it! 😂🔥🌴

Hi John! That’s so hot! But glad you like it! I think with the high humidity we have here in Houston really amplifies the heat. I’m not sure how you handle 108!

It’s a very low humidity which offsets the heat to some degree. 27% just now. I’m from Michigan, we have very humid summers up there whci I miss but not the humidity.

Having lived in both cold and warm climates, I know that I tolerate the cold better. We have lived by the ocean for decades now. It’s quite moderate and seldom gets below freezing or above 80 degrees. It’s one of the main reasons we live here. Hope your heatwave ends soon.

Hi Pete! Hope you are well! This heat is the norm for September here in the Houston area, but it’s just too hot! I’m hopeful a small cool front will roll through for a day or two, but that probably wishful thinking! Also, I think as I get older, my tolerance to the heat is declining. Where you live sounds absolutely perfect! 🙂

It’s absolutely no fun! I’d say August and September are the worst here in the Houston area. I’m stalking WeatherBug just waiting for some sort of break. Is your weather a little better now?

Thank you for sharing!!…. with changes in the wind, with climate also, one may have to prepare to deal with extreme weather as a normal… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
Brightened by a song
in your heart,
And warmed by the smiles
of people you love.

I agree! After that crazy winter storm here in Texas, we bought a little generator. Hopefully, we won’t have to use it anytime soon. Take care!
