  1. Because Texas is in some ways a desert I guess, Las Vegas will hit the 90s Saturday and stay there. Our 110-degree summer is almost back and I love it!

    • I bet it’s getting hot out there, too! I’m not a huge fan of the heat, but it’s the humidity here that makes is worse. It can make temps 10-12 higher (heat index). And then, it won’t even cool down at night. No relief.

      • I’ll take your word for it, I’ve never been in Texas. I hear that the folks think of the state as it’s own country?

      • I think Texans fluctuate between arrogance and being very independent. There’s a fine line. We actual do have the Texas state pledge right after the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, so IDK. I personally don’t know many who think Texas is its own country, but I’m sure there are a few!

    • Truth. And we barely have one here in Houston but I was hoping for at least a few more weeks of halfway decent weather. Right now, they are saying this next week will be hotter than this past one. It’s not even June.

  2. That is hot, I say stating the obvious. I’m not sure how long I could last outside in weather like that. Good luck, hope you’re inside with AC.

  3. Thank you for sharing!!.. Change is in the winds and “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.” (William Arthur Ward) so I am adjusting the sails, “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future.” (John F. Kennedy) … as for why, because it can… 🙂

Have a wonderful day and until we meet again..
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
    wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
    with joy that long endures.
    May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
    (Irish Saying)

  4. My daughter is in Kingwood and shared her weather app graphic I sent my condolences. I will never understand how people survive in that climate, especially when the a/c goes out. Eek! Try to stay safe and cool.

    • Some people like it. But I really don’t. It’s not usually this hot so early! This more like mid-July weather. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone can do without A/C here. I hope she’s hanging in there! I’m trying not to think about what July/August might be like at this rate!

      • Seriously. It may be like a summer we had about 19 years ago where all of July or maybe it was August, daily temps were 100+. It was insane and no rain at all. We did have several wildfires that summer. It hasn’t rained here significantly in about a month or so and none in sight 😦
