It’s Wednesday, Ya’ll!

It’s been a great week back at school. Very exciting, spirits are high, and we’ll have our 1st real pep rally this Friday after several years of just having mini ones in the mornings before school starts – definitely not the same!

It’s going well, but my brain is mushy yet overloaded. I just want to look at cute cat pics! I’m just checking in to say hi! I hope your week is going smoothly! 🙂 – b

  1. A real pep rally sounds terrific. I noticed our high school band was practicing a couple of days ago. So many signs of life-back-to-normal — it’s just great. Enjoy the rest of the week!

    • Hi Anne Maria! Whoo hoo! Tomorrow is beach spirit day, pep rally, and our first football game of the season! Everyone at school is really working hard to bring back school spirit and culture. It definitely waned over the past few years with events being canceled and limited, etc. due to covid. Hopefully, students will get into it as well! I keep telling my juniors they’re going to love real pep rallies! 🙂

Hope all is well and until we meet again…
    May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
    Brightened by a song
    in your heart,
    And warmed by the smiles
    of people you love.

  3. Cute cat pics. I read restaurant reviews dreaming of a great early bird special or immerse myself in some mindless thriller book. Hope your year goes well. Mine is getting better as I become more familiar with the new staff and job but I am truly exhausted and in bed weekdays by 9 pm. Love the weekend!

    • I’m really glad it’s going well at your new campus! Yippee! But, yes, I totally understand the exhaustion. I am really happy with my schedule and students. I know it will be a good year, but I’m utterly out of energy by about 5 p.m. every day. Even though we only had a 4 day week, it felt like 8 days LOL
