I do love a good windmill! I don’t care if they’re still in fine repair and working, or just a remnant of the past; I think they’re cool.

I agree! It’s not the best photo. I’m still practicing 🙂

We are fortunate to live in an area where in just a few miles drive, we get to see windmills like this one. Some work, some don’t, but all are appreciated.

I’m a big fan of windmills. I bet there are lots of cool ones in PA country!

There certainly are. We have the luxury of being nearby to Dutch country, and many farms feature windmills of all shapes and sizes!

Hi AB, it’s just down the road from us on some land with cattle. We’re kinda out in the country outside of Houston. Sometimes, I pull over and take pictures of cows or bales of hay LOL I don’t know why 🤪

Did you know the artist Grant Wood (American Gothic) loved to put windmills into lots of his landscape paintings. We used to have a B and B we decorated w/ several of his paintings. In the course of acquiring the prints I read that. Sure enough, once I started looking, it was true. (not all of them but several)
